“I have a passion for charities and a desire to give something back. I’m the proud father of a child with Down syndrome and thanks to KidzWish and its programs has transformed his life. Because of KidzWish and because of the amazing dedication of the staff who want to see the best for every one of the kids in their care, started to no longer be that shy little boy. But a boy who wanted to be involved and a boy who wanted to do things. KidzWish has enabled me to do something special for one of the most vulnerable groups in our society - children and their families in our region. I take pride in the work KidzWish undertakes to help these children and their families.”

“KidzWish has a strong strategic plan and a clear direction for the Charity over the next 5 years. The Board of Directors fully endorses the mission of the charity in helping children who are sick, disadvantaged or living with a disability. I believe that volunteering my time to KidzWish as Treasurer is more than assisting the cause but it’s a lasting legacy of support, love and laughter.”

Heather Kennedy is the Operations Manager and Director of K.I.S. Bookkeeping Professionals as well as K.I.S. Accounting Systems. In this capacity she has lead a team of Accountants, Consultants and Bookkeepers (all experts in Accounting Software), supporting SME’s in the Illawarra and Australia wide, for the past 20 years.

    Chris Beaven, Secretary

"I'm the proud founder of KidzWish. I have never given up on a challenge. My life long experience in the Strategic Marketing and Events world has proved to be a valuable asset to my dream of assisting children who are sick, disadvantaged or have a disability. In the beginning it was to bring 'love and laughter' to children by providing them with an annual Christmas Party of their own. Now, thousands of children have access to Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, a Music & Dance Program, Sports Academy Program, the KidzWish Children’s Christmas Party and amazing experiences organised by our staff. I'm thrilled that KidzWish is now a major children's charity with a solid future."
