Founded in 2004 to fulfil a need for children who are sick, disadvantaged or have a disability through a large Children’s Christmas Party.
In 2010, KidzWish expanded by providing therapy and support services. The KidzWish Children’s Christmas Party saw its 16th year in 2019.
KidzWish is now delivering therapy, support work and assisted programs built on a family centred approach, through individual and group sessions at home, preschool, school and within the community.
We provide support workers to assist children with social skills, personal confidence and community participation and offer respite to our KidzWish families.
Our assisted programs are made up of Music and Dance program, Sports Academy, an interactive games session, and parent and sibling support groups.
2020 will see new programs including a tailored approach to our Children’s Christmas Party, making it a fun and inclusive event for our families with a need.
