What's it all about?
After surviving a stroke, Lake Illawarra resident Michael Hamilton vowed to help make a difference to the lives of others. A few years ago he made good on that promise, when he walked from Seacliff Bridge to Windang Bridge to raise funds for KidzWish.
Now every year Michael leads the KidzWish Bridge2Bridge walk along the 42-kilometre track with 100 other walkers, aiming to raise funds for KidzWish.
Participants can chose to walk from Sea Cliff Bridge to Windang Bridge or part of the course, with 7 different sections to cater for people of all abilities.
How your support helps
Our vision is to help Illawarra & South Coast children who are sick, disadvantaged or have a disability and their families so they’ll never walk alone. With your support we can help them with Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Appeals Program, Music & Dance Program, Sports Academy Program and the KidzWish Children’s Christmas Party. 100% of profits from this event will help fund these KidzWish Programs.
