Christmas Fun!

Continuing to spread the Love and Laughter this Christmas, KidzWish visited Wollongong Hospital's Children Ward, Peterborough School and Kemblawarra Public School on Wednesday 9th December.

The KidzWish Fairy came along on the day to visit all the children along with Willy Wonka and Dan Jackson from the Wollongong ahm Hawks.

The kids were delighted when they received toys and goodies bags on the day from all the stars!

On Thursday 10th December, 7 lucky kids from Para Meadows got the chance to meet the Hawks players at their training session at The Snakes Pit, in readiness for their game Saturday 12th December which is raising awareness for International Disability Day.

Hawks Coach, Gordie helped the kids with their skills up and down the court while the players helped with tricks and shooting hoops.

Afterwards the children and the players had some McDonalds for lunch and some well-deserved refreshments after their training session.

To end the week with loads of enjoyment, The WIN Entertainment Centre kindly donated 24 tickets to the Wiggles Big Big Show on Friday 11th December.

KidzWish Kids were extremely excited to meet the Wiggles before the show and get some great photos. The show was spectacular and all the children thoroughly enjoyed it.

Fundraise

Fundraising can be really rewarding and lots of fun, whilst raising much needed funds for sick, disabled and disadvantaged children

Involve your family, friends or work colleagues in your fundraiser........please feel free to use some of our fundraising tips.

Have a party, parties can include ticket entry donations, raffles, auctions, as well as charging for food and drinks and using the money to go towards your kitty.
Fund raising at special events or occasions ,You could sell cakes, chocolates, pancakes or whatever you make that you think people will enjoy and want to buy.
Set up a stall, first you must get permission from the relevant people to do so. Collect donations for an act or food that you made (pancakes, cakes etc)
Host a runathon, walkathon, or swimathon
Hold a competition, raffle or an auction, try to get in touch with a local sporting celebrity for some memorabilia
Organise a Fashion Parade, get a group of friends together and contact your favorite clothing store and offer to parade their clothing. Charge an entry fee for guests and organise models for the event.
