Santa Claus brings a KidzWish for all!
More than 4000 people were treated on Friday 20th November to a Christmas Journey unlike any other. The WIN Entertainment Centre was transformed into a Christmas Wonderland for the KidzWish Annual Christmas Party.
Thousands of little faces lit up as acts such as Willy Wonka and the cast of hit movie Madagascar 2 took to the stage ahead of the arrival of Santa Claus, who ferried to the stage aboard a horse-drawn sleigh.
The KidzWish Foundation provides support to thousands of disabled and disadvantaged children and their families in the Illawarra.
This year marks the sixth time the charity has held their Christmas bash and Executive Director Chris Beaven said more than 12 months of work had gone into the event.
"The Christmas Party is our premier event - we work towards this day all year." she said. "We make sure that the children enjoy nothing but the best entertainment because that is what they deserve."
The party was followed by the Annual KidzWish Charity Ball, which boasted a guest-list of 600 and was hosted by TV personality Karl Stefanovic.
Ms Beaven said the day's events would not have been possible without the work of volunteers and the support of sponsors.
"Thanks to the support... we were able to produce a show like no other for 2009," she said.
