On Friday the KidzWish Travelling Team, including the KidzWish Fairy and Wollongong ahm Hawks Captain Mat Campbell visited local schools who fundraised for KidzWish on the day with Themed Mufti Days.

All the students looked fantastic and loved meeting the KidzWish Fairy.

After the school visits, the KidzWish staff took 50 special children on a fun day of AMF Bowling at Albion Park.

The competition was fierce all day with 10 teams filling the lanes from Para Meadows, Peterborough and Dapto Public School.

It was a day to remember and a lot fun had by all the students, teachers and KidzWish staff.

Over $5000 was raised on the day from local schools and businesses.

On Saturday 3rd July, the KidzWish team celebrated in the wonderful world of Stockland Shellharbour.

With movie star Shrek making a special appearance along with The Mad Hatter, Alice and the White Rabbit for photos with all the kids.

It was a very successful day with lots of support from the local community.

The KidzWish team made up of Ronni, Nerrina, Hotu and Josh came second in the competition with Hotu also winning the award for Nearest to Pin.

The day raised over $4000 for the charity which will also be doubled by the BHP Billiton Match Giving Program.

A big thank you to Dendrobium Mines and all their supporters who turned up on the day and who have sent through donations from all over Australia.

KidzWish Party Cruise

On Friday KidzWish Kids enjoyed a 'Creatures of the Sea' Day on Sydney Harbour.

There was lots of excitement at Doherty's Bus Terminal on Friday when 100 children and their carers dressed as sharks, pirates, mermaids and jellyfish and boarded the bus to Sydney. KidzWish Ambassador and Wollongong Hawks

Captain Mat Campbell came along on the day to help spread the 'Love and Laughter'.

Waiting on King Street Wharf was the gigantic Captain Cook Cruise. The children were welcomed onboard by The KidzWish Fairy and a Ninja Turtle.

The KidzWish staff planned a wonderful day for the children with entertainment by Boom Boom the Clown and Graeme Wilson singing lots of fun songs with the children.

Prizes were given for the wonderful costumes and the children got their faces painted and played at the craft table all day.

This day would not have been possible without  Peter and Joy Hanbury of Industrial Timber who for a second year donated this fantastic experience to the children.

A big thank you from The KidzWish Foundation to all the volunteers and the Captain Cook staff for making this day so fabulous!
